Welcome to IZUMI Shelter

A 10-year-old street dog from Japan was rescued by a shelter and named Izumi. Kabosumama adopted her, and renamed her Neiro.

Inspired by this, we've taken the mission of Izumi further and are proud to introduce the IZUMI Shelter Foundation.

About the Izumi Shelter in Mexico

IZUMI is the origin story of Neiro.

Our first IZUMI Shelter in Mexico is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for neglected and mistreated dogs.

The team goes above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of these dogs, helping them recover, thrive, and find loving forever homes.

Working at Izumi Shelter is more than a job, it's a calling. Every day, I witness the resilience and love these dogs offer, despite their past hardships. Being part of their journey to recovery and seeing them find their forever homes fills me with immense pride and joy.
